Homeless Services and/or Resources. Homelessness is a critical issue for persons with SMI that destabilizes their lives, health, mental health and recovery. Homelessness affects all areas of a person’s life including access to housing, services, financial and healthcare benefits and the mental health resources needed to aid their treatment, rehabilitation and recovery.
The Projects for Transition from Homelessness across the state are designed to find adults with SMI who are homeless and to connect them to available community-based services.
