Fee-for-Service
Some agencies are reimbursed directly by the Minnesota Department of Human Services for providing adult targeted case management services. This is known as, fee-for-service. To serve an eligible client in the fee-for-service model, an adult MH-TCM provider agency must be the county or an agency under contract to the county, (or the tribal authority or agency under contract with the tribal authority to serve the tribe’s members) where the recipient resides and be enrolled in Minnesota’s Health Care Provider (MHCP) system.
Minnesota Health Care Programs are publicly funded health care programs. Examples of programs include Medical Assistance and Minnesota Care. .
