Person-Centered Planning Methods
Expanding Circles of Support
Individuals may choose to expand their Circle of Support when the situation calls for different expertise or when other public resources are available.
For example, a person may choose to access:
- DB101: Helps people with disabilities learn how income may impact benefits so they can make informed choices, reduce fears and ensure work is part of the plan.
- DEED: Department of Employment and Economic Development Division of Rehabilitative Services can help people find work.
- Occupational Therapy: Provides professional expertise to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of individuals. Assesses and plans for assistive technology and environmental modifications
