Landlords look for tenants with:

Credit histories
Job histories
Recommendations
Rental histories

Keep in mind that most people supported by HAC will have none of the items listed above. Instead participants will have stable public income and disability supports. Experienced HAC staff report that no landlord has refused to rent to a person with a disability because of their disability.
