Do not deem assets when determining MA-LTC eligibility for:

The month a client enters an LTCF or is anticipated to begin receiving MS-LTC waiver services, and all following months, when the client has a community spouse.
All months following the month a client enters an LTCF or is anticipated to begin receiving waiver services when the client does not have a community spouse.

Do not deem assets when determining QMB or SLMB eligibility for a person requesting MA-LTC for:

The month a client enters an LTCF, and all following months, when the client has a community spouse.

All months in which a person is receiving services from the EW program.
