Use Emily’s case information to answer the following questions.

1. Does Emily have other health care coverage?

Yes, Emily has coverage through Medicare. Emily has Medicare Part A, Part B and Part D coverage. This information can be found on her SSA award letter, and on the DHS-3531. It can also be determined based on the medical expenses she is reporting. Emily’s hospital and care center charges appear to be the Medicare Part A co-insurance costs. You could have also verified this information through SVES.

2. Does Emily have any other third party liability issues?

Yes, Emily had an accident in her home on LM/2/YY. This information was provided on the DHS-3531 and during the interview (see Worker Notes section of DHS-3531, on page 6).

3. Does Emily have to cooperate with medical support or have a parental fee assessed?

No. Emily does not have any children in her household.
