Example of SIS-EW

Marjory and Hank are married. Hank is requesting MA-LTC services through the Elderly Waiver today. They receive the following monthly income:

Hank’s RSDI of $1,133.
Marjory’s RSDI of $1,000.
Hank’s Radiation Exposure Compensation Act payments of $1,500.

Do not count Hank’s Radiation payments or Marjory’s RSDI. His gross income for purposes of determining whether he is SIS-EW is $1,133. Hank is SIS-EW.
