Determining Gross Earned Income

To determine the amount of the client’s gross earned income to use in the LTC income calculation:

• Count all types of earned income received in a given month.

• Do not average or annualize income.  Anticipate income as accurately as possible for each month.

• Count net self-employment income as the gross earned income.
