Who Writes the Interpretive Summary?

image of a few file foldersThe best person to write the Interpretive Summary is:

  • The clinical supervisor of the rehabilitation services, and.
  • At minimum must be a Mental Health Practitioner under the clinical supervision of a Mental Health Professional.

The Interpretive Summary must:

  • Be written AFTER the Diagnostic Assessment, Functional Assessment and Level of Care are completed.
  • Should synthesize all information and make it useful.

If more assessments are conducted, the Interpretive Summary should reflect this additional information.
