Target Population
In the 2024 Bulletin, “DHS Provides Clarification on Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice Mental Health Screening”, it was recommended that youth who are on supervised probation but not adjudicated get screened for mental health symptoms.
An addition was made to the target population stating:
RECOMMENDED: Youth whose case is under a continuance for dismissal or stay of adjudication but before a finding of delinquency has been made.
