Administering the Screen
After administering the screen, tallying the results, determining if further response is necessary and giving the information to the youth and families, the next step is to help the youth and families gain access to the appropriate mental health services.
Mental health services are usually paid for by the youth’s health insurance. Each health insurance policy has a different format for accessing services. Please look at this decision tree to match accessing services with the type of health insurance.
