Introduction
To meet best practices as well as reflect a recovery orientation, functional assessments should be conducted during face to face contacts and interactions with the consumer and contain consumer assessment of their own status and functioning within each domain.
Although many providers may have previous experience conducting and documenting functional assessments, we are introducing what may be new concepts, terms and suggested processes that service providers will need to understand and integrate into their agency’s operations.
Throughout the training, we will offer various opportunities to check your understanding and practice new knowledge and skills.
