Case Studies
You will be introduced to three hypothetical stories of individuals with mental health concerns - Maria, Paul and Hassan.
Case studies will be provided to you, as well as brief interviews with the three individuals. You may need to use some conjecture about the situation and life of the individuals and identify where additional information may be needed to make complete assessments or conclusions.
The learner may complete optional written assignments specific to these three case studies:
- Review if the individual appears to be eligible for MH-TCM.
- Complete functional assessments for each individual.
- Complete Individual Community Support Plans for each individual.
- Address referral and resources needed.
- Monitor challenges of the clients’ plans.
