As you help the individual locate homes, he or she may want your help to secure a home, including assistance with:

Completing rental applications, housing vouchers and utility support applications.

• Meeting and working with landlords.

You learned skills for building relationships with landlords in Module #3. Your key actions are to:

• Introduce yourself.
• Describe the supports offered by HAC that help people move and maintain their housing.
• Describe stable public and employment income.
• Describe direct deposits or representative payees.
