Objectives
Objectives are short-term steps describing what the person will be able to do in a specified period of time (90-180 days).
- 30 days for IRTS and Day Treatment
- 3 days for residential crisis stabilization
Objectives change frequently because they have either been accomplished or not.
Like rehabilitation goals, these are statements of results -- not of processes. Unlike rehabilitation goals, objectives change more frequently either because they have been accomplished or because they were not. If the objective is not achieved, on the next rehabilitation service plan the new objective changes to aim at a smaller, more specific targeted outcome that is attainable within a 90-180 day time frame.
