Interventions
can be delivered through individual or group modalities.
Examples of interventions:
- Staff will demonstrate to Mary three ways to ask for help in the grocery store.
- Staff will rehearse with Mary questions to ask the doctor about medications.
- In Social Skills Training Group, staff will teach Mary the skill steps involved in Starting a Conversation.
- This skill set will be reinforced through the use of demonstration, role plays between the trainer and Mary, and practice of the skill between Mary and other group members.
- Staff will provide immediate feedback to Mary about her use of this skill.
