How to search the RSEL panel for a person

  1. Compare known information with the persons listed.
  2. Use caution as names may be the same or similar.
  3. Press function key F8 to advance to next page of list.
  4. Press function key F7 to return to previous page of list.
  5. TAB to place cursor in front of person to be selected.
    • If person cannot be found then person is not known to MMIS or
    • an error was made when entering search data.
  6. Type X in front of person to be selected.
  7. TRANSMIT to the next MMIS panel.

MMIS navigation review

  1. + and - indicators are displayed on MMIS panels when there is more information on another page.
    • When there is a + use function key F8 to advance to the next page.
    • When there is a - use function key F7 to go to the previous page.
    • When there is both +/- use either F8 or F7 to view additional information.
  2. Programmable Function key numbers are displayed at the bottom of most MMIS panels.
    • Function keys are numbered PF1 through PF12.
    • Text below PF number is an abbreviation the function of the key.
    • Only PF numbers with text displayed below them are active on the current screen.
    • Availability of a function key depends on the panel currently displayed and the action mode used to access the application.
    • Press function key F1 on your keyboard to display or hide function key display on MMIS screen.
