The ADD1 panel is the first panel in the DD (Developmental Disabilities) screening document. On the next page of this course you will view the remaining DD screening document panels.

In this table MMIS fields are populated with sample data to show how MMIS fields appear with valid values entered. Field entries containing Protected Health Information (PHI) appear as zeros in this example.

How to navigate the DD screening document

Navigation function in the DD screening document is the same as in the LTC screening document. Let's review.

  • NEXT field navigates to a specific panel by entering the acronym of the panel in the NEXT field.
  • TAB to advance to next available field.
  • SHIFT-TAB to go back to previous field.
  • ENTER (carriage return) key moves cursor down page one line at a time.
  • HOME key to bring cursor to the top of the page.
  • END key to remove entry in field or use DELETE key to remove entry one character at a time.
  • TRANSMIT to advance to the next MMIS panel.
  • F4 function key navigates to another subsystem to view information.
  • F6 function key exits current screen and returns to previous screen.
  • F3 function key saves and exits when using add or change mode to enter data in a document.

MMIS navigation reminder

  • Function keys are displayed at the bottom of most MMIS screens.
  • Press function key F1 to hide or show function key display on screen.
  • Text displayed below PF number indicates that the function key is currently available on that panel.
