What Have You Learned in This Module?

This module presented Minnesota’s Rehabilitative Services, enabling you to understand the rehabilitation regulations so that you can determine:

• Whether the medical necessity justifies rehabilitation as the appropriate service
• If rehabilitation is required, which type of intervention should be selected

Examples of the broad categories of rehabilitation interventions were covered:

• Support to facilitate recovery
• Skill acquisition, mastery and retention
• Developing & using community resources
• Developing &  using natural supports

Each of the categories as well as the example interventions and accompanying stories help build your knowledge of the infrastructure of Minnesota’s Rehabilitative Services.
