MMIS FUNCTION KEYS
Keyboard Function Keys
- Function keys are located at the top of most keyboards and are labeled F1 through F12.
- Press a function key once to direct MMIS to perform function.
- MMIS will repeat the action each time function key is pressed.

COPY |
Copies text from one comment screen to another. |

Saves information entered and exits document. |

NAVIG |
Navigates directly to another subsystem. |
F5 |
SLIST |
Navigates to recipient or provider selection screen. |

N/EXT |
Exits document or screen without saving information entered. |

PREV |
Scrolls backward to view previous text or list. |
F8 |
NEXT |
Scrolls forward to view remainder of text or list. |
F9 |
EDIT |
Edits document after entering information. |

OOPS |
Clears most recently entered information on current screen. |
F11 |
BOTM |
Displays a new blank Service Agreement line for entry. |
F12 |
HELP |
Displays most field valid values in the Recipient subsystem. F12 is not available in the Prior Authorization subsystem. |
MMIS Function Key Display
- MMIS displays function keys (also referred to as programmable function keys) at the bottom of most screens. Function key display is labeled PF1 through PF12.
- Not every function key is available on every screen. Function key availability will vary depending if worker is viewing information in MMIS only or entering data in MMIS.
- Text displayed below PF number indicates that the function is available on the current screen.
