Case managers act as gatekeepers when they conduct intake and needs assessments to determine eligibility for specific programs. In order to provide effective case management services, case managers should have comprehensive knowledge about eligibility requirements of the health and human service programs in Minnesota.
Case managers monitor the quality of services to protect the privacy, rights and the health and safety of the persons to whom they provide case management services.
Case managers have a variety of critical roles in the lives of persons to whom they provide services. A career in case management is very rewarding. Linda provides a refreshing message for new and seasoned case managers.
