Applying the Limit
Apply the Home Equity Limit requirement when a person meets all of the following criteria:
- Is requesting MA-LTC.
- Owns property (has ownership interest) that is their primary dwelling (home).
- Resides in the home or resided in the home immediately prior to receiving LTC services.
- An exception to applying the Home Equity Limit is not met. (Exceptions will be provided on the next page.)
