Adult MH-TCM providers in the fee-for-service model, bill for service reimbursement through the MMIS system.
Most counties participate in the SSIS system, which is used to generate billing/reimbursement through MMIS. If you work for a county agency providing MH-TCM services, ask your supervisor for more specific information about the SSIS system and procedures and responsibilities for inputting MH-TCM information into this system
If you are providing MH-TCM services that are reimbursed by a county, be aware of the counties billing and information reporting requirements.
If you are providing MH-TCM services that are reimbursed by a managed care organization, be aware of the MCO’s billing and information reporting requirements.
Data and service activity reporting
DHS requires adult MH-TCM providers, as well as several other public mental health services provider types, report service activity information to the Minnesota Mental Health Reporting System. Ask your supervisor about how your agency reports MH-TCM data.
