Module Overview
The client’s obligation toward the cost of care is determined based on three factors:
- The type of income calculation being used.
- How the client is receiving LTC services.
- The cost of the client’s LTC services.
As stated in the Introduction Module, this course provides information on these four client obligation types:
- Medical spenddowns.
- LTC spenddowns.
- Medical spenddowns for Long-Term Care.
- Waiver obligations.
