Designated Provider
The last section of this module will discuss the designated provider option. This approach allows certain clients to pay their obligation to a specific provider of their choice. This option eliminates potluck processing and directs enrollees to pay the designated provider directly each month, rather than wait to determine who to pay based on their monthly Explanation of Benefits Statement (EOMB).
