Case Studies
In the following sections there are brief introductions to three hypothetical case studies of individuals with mental illness: Maria, Paul and Hassan.
As you progress through this training curriculum, you will be provided with additional information about these three individuals.
You will have the option of additional homework assignments involving written case management assessments, planning, referral, and monitoring/coordination activities specific to these three case studies.
Individuals with mental illness are first and foremost people with hopes, dreams and challenges. They too have families and friends, hobbies and interests, and skills and talents.
Remember, people are not their diagnosis.
