Module Objectives
After you have determined whether the MA-LTC request form(s) are complete or if any additional forms are needed, your next step is to begin processing the request. Processing a request for MA-LTC begins with reviewing the request. Preview the information we will be discussing in this module by looking at Steps 1 and 2 found on the MA-LTC Processing Steps (PDF) handout.
When you have completed this module, you will be able to:
- Determine if an MA-LTC request is complete.
- Determine if an interview is needed.
- Identify ways clients may authorize a person to represent them.
- Determine the begin date for MA-LTC clients residing in a LTCF or the anticipated begin date of services for waiver clients.
