Identifying LTCP Cases
Your county may want to consider stamping the front of a case file that contains a Partnership policy or flagging those cases in some other way. Then when you learn that a client has died, even if the case is found in closed cases, you’ll be able to immediately identify whether the person was able to protect assets.
Because LTCP information is used in estate recovery, do not purge LTCP forms or other related information from the case folder.
