LTCP Process – LTCP Initial Determination
The first process to be discussed is the initial determination process. This process is followed when a request for MA payment of LTC services indicates the client has had LTC insurance at any time since July 1, 2006. The client may either:
- Be currently covered by the policy.
- Had coverage by a past LTC insurance policy at some time since July 1, 2006.
