When processing a request for MA-LTC follow basic MA application processing requirements, unless otherwise noted in this course.
To Do: Using the policy manual link in the browser window, take a minute to review the Minnesota Health Care Eligibility Policy Manual (EPM) to determine:
- What must be included in a Request to Apply in order to set a date of application?
- Who must sign an application?
- What are the processing periods?
- How does an application for Extra Help through the Social Security Administration affect the date of application for MA?
