Interview
An interview is not required to determine eligibility for any of the health care programs; however, it is often in the client’s best interest to meet with you when requesting MA-LTC services. By encouraging a meeting between you and the client or the client’s representative you will be providing an opportunity for you to gather additional information, explain what information is needed, and how information is used to determine eligibility. It also assures greater accuracy and good customer service.
An applicant may apply and request an interview in any of the following counties:
- The county servicing the client’s case.
- The county financially responsible for the case.
- The county in which the authorized representative lives.
