Module Overview

Welfare office workers.

Once you have determined that an LTC income calculation is appropriate and when you should begin using it, you will use that income calculation to determine the client’s obligation for the cost of care.

Completing an LTC income calculation involves determining the client’s gross income and applying income deductions to the gross income which results in either a person’s LTC spenddown or waiver obligation.

This module reviews policy for MA-LTC clients using an LTC income calculation.
