Introduction
This section provides the steps to follow, incorporating the use of the forms and conditions discussed in the previous sections, to allow a medical expense deduction in the LTC income calculation. A summary of the process steps can be found on the handout, Medical Expense Deduction Process (PDF).
We will apply the medical expense deduction process to Elizabeth Ribble’s case throughout this module.
