Section Objectives
There are special rules for a person receiving home and community-based services through the Elderly Waiver when their income is at or below the Special Income Standard (SIS). EW clients whose income is at or below the SIS are referred to as SIS-EW.
This section will review the policies pertaining specifically to clients identified as SIS-EW and will provide the steps to make that determination.
