After assets are protected, they are no longer counted in the client’s asset total.
MAXIS STAT panels must be updated to indicate that the asset value, or a portion of that value, is no longer considered a counted asset. The Health Care Count Code field must be updated to show that the protected asset is no longer a counted asset. If an asset is partially protected, complete two STAT panels for that asset – one for the counted portion and another for the protected portion.
