MA Eligibility Criteria Review
Some policies regarding MA eligibility are the same regardless of whether a person is requesting MA-LTC services or basic MA. These include:
- Social Security Number requirements and exceptions.
- Citizenship and identity requirements and exemptions for U.S. Citizens.
- Immigration status requirements for noncitizens.
The next several pages of this module will give you an opportunity to review these requirements. Be alert for any information that may be useful when determining MA-LTC eligibility.
