Use Isabella’s case information to answer the following questions.

1. Has Isabella verified all assets that need to be verified for MA eligibility?

Isabella did not report owning any assets. Even if she had reported assets, as a child under the age of 21, Isabella does not have an asset limit and would not be required to verify her assets. For MA-LTC eligibility, she would still need to comply with the home equity and annuity PRB requirements if she owned a home or an annuity as noted on the MA-LTC Clients Exempt from Asset Limits handout from this course. You will learn more about the home equity requirement in an upcoming module of this course. You will learn more about the MA-LTC annuity requirements in the Annuities and MA-LTC course.

2. Is Isabella asset-eligible? 

Yes. She does not have an asset test.
