Introduction
The Introduction to Long-Term Care (LTC) and Waivers course is the first in the MA payment of LTC services (MA-LTC) course sequencing.
The purpose of this course is to introduce you to long-term care services and the programs available for people in need of those services who are elderly and disabled. The course includes the following topics:
- Long-Term Care Facilities (LTCF).
- Home and Community-Based Waiver Programs:
- Elderly Waiver (EW).
- Alternative Care (AC).
- Community Alternative Care (CAC) Waiver.
- Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver.
- Brain Injury (BI) Waiver.
- Developmental Disability (DD) Waiver.
