Sinclair and CADI
The CADI waiver may be appropriate for Sinclair.
- He is under age 65.
- He is disabled.
- An LTCC indicates an institutional level of care would be needed if he returned home.
To be eligible for CADI, the waiver case manager must communicate that CADI is the appropriate waiver program for Sinclair. He must meet all MA eligibility requirements, have his disability approved by SSA or SMRT and meet the additional MA-LTC eligibility requirements such as meeting the home equity limit and annuity requirements and not being subject to a transfer penalty.
