Condition 9 - Not Previously Allowed as a Deduction or to Meet a Spenddown
The ninth condition does not allow expenses previously used:
- As a medical expense deduction in an LTC income calculation.
- To meet a medical spenddown.
- To meet an LTC spenddown or waiver obligation.
Only allow the portion of the expense that was not allowed as a deduction or not used to meet a medical spenddown if all other conditions are met.
