Interrupting a Six-Month Spenddown

As mentioned earlier in this section, you do not interrupt the certification period to change from a community income calculation to an LTC income calculation.  However, if an LTC income calculation must begin in the middle of a certification period with a six-month spenddown, you must calculate a shortened spenddown for the months of the certification period before the LTC income calculation begins.
