Complete case notes regarding the medical expense deduction. Include the following in the case note:
- Expenses that were not allowed to be used as a deduction, and why.
- The amount of expenses used each month as a deduction.
- The amount of available expenses remaining to be used as a deduction in the next certification period.
- Refer to the forms in the case file.
File the forms completed during the evaluation process in the case file.
